University of California, Davis Memorial Union provides a range of services and programs that help students by allowing them to connect and experience what the campus has to offer. The Memorial Union complex provides an environment that allows students to study and recharge after and between classes. Students can de-stress and bond with one another creating a community over bowling, billiards, and console games. Callander and Associates are the designers of the Memorial Union plaza Renovation. Part of the design concept includes the application of a new waterproofing membrane over the below-grade bowling that exists under the Plaza.
MCA provided construction administration services for the plaza waterproofing membrane installation for the renovation project. Construction administration services include multiple site visits, field reports, and mock-up reviews. This project was completed in 2018.
