Velba has experience in Commercial and Residential Architectural Design. Most of her past work focused on Interior Architecture and Commercial tenant improvements from Conceptual Design to Construction Contract Management. Since joining the firm in 2014 she has investigated reports of water intrusion in existing buildings, designed and developed building envelope details, and observed repairs and the installation of new waterproofing. Velba currently manages a variety of projects that include remediation work and waterproofing on new large-scale, mixed-use structures. Velba has a Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Woodbury University, Burbank, CA. In addition to her work at MCA, she currently serves as a planning commissioner for Daly City.
