Odd Fellows Building, San Francisco
Client: Odd Fellows Building Association of San Francisco
The Odd Fellows Building, built in 1909, was designed by architect G.A. Dodge. The seven-story building contains approximately 10,500 square feet. It is a steel frame and concrete type construction with exterior brick and terra cotta cladding in a French Renaissance and Baroque style. The building is a landmark located in the Historic Market Street Theater Loft District and is a Category I Significant Building under Article 11 in San Francisco.
The two primary exterior elevations of the building are the North and East Façades. The building is connected to adjacent buildings along Market and 7th Streets, so the West and South Façades do not have full height elevations.
