Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, 260 Fifth Street consists of two mid-rise towers located in San Francisco’s SOMA district. Both towers are nine-storys with one-story of below-grade parking, and include 448 residential units in total with additional retail and amenity space located at street level.

The 900 Folsom building includes a small mid-block grade level landscaped park and a landscaped podium over the first level. Both buildings have small balcony decks over living space for select residential units. Also included are rooftop terraces and low-slope roofing assemblies.

MCA provided peer review of the Architect’s design and made suggestions on improvements for systems, assemblies, and performance requirements. During construction, MCA visited the site to monitor ongoing work related to the building enclosure and provided assistance to the Architect reviewing submittals and requests for information.
