101 Lombard

Built in 1982, 101 Lombard is a mixed-use condominium complex consisting of reinforced concrete columns with post-tensioned slabs, a metal stud wall system, and a cement plaster finish covered with a thin set masonry tile. Numerous leaking reports throughout the building complex began during the first rainy season, and MCA’s recommendations for preventive action and corrective work were immediately implemented to prevent future degradation of the building as construction continued. Remedial repairs affected numerous components in the building: window systems, lath and plaster, roof stairs, brick tiles, flue vents, balcony and parapet railing, plaza/pool area, below grade intrusions, and columns.
