One Rincon Hill

One Rincon Hill is the tallest all-residential tower in California. It is comprised of two towers at 45 and 55-stories high, containing 368 units. It is the first US building to contain a liquid mass damper designed to reduce earthquake and wind loading. The towers are built around a reinforced concrete stairwell acting as a moment resistance frame, allowing for uninterrupted views of the bay and surrounding cityscape. MCA provided consultation services for the Architect on the roofing assemblies, podium and below grade waterproofing.
